Caspar Prenger geboren ca 1535, vermeld vanaf 1572, oud ritmeester in in 1607 en overleden in januari 1618, trouwt Hemme Nannes van Keppel.Met zijn moeder, broers en zuster wordt hij in 1572 genoemd, blijkens de stukken van Strick (1575) diendende drie oudste zoons van Jacob Prenger onder de hopman Jacob Huisingh onder de graven van Aremberg en Megen.Deze Caspar Prenger komt regelmatig voor in rechtzaken in Groningen en Friesland ( periode 1575-1604 ).Uit het huwelijk met Hemme komt Anna Prenger die trouwt met Aicke Ayckens Droege, die later de naam Prenger aanneemt, zij trouwen voor 10 mei 1626.
