    Hij handelde o.a. onder de firma's Jan Calendrini enGuillo.Bartolotti en Pieter Bas en Guillo. Bartolotti enstichttehet beroemde bankiershuis van Bartolotti, dat ookeenaanzienlijke handel op Italië en de Levant dreef; hijwasbewindhebber West Indische Companie 1622.
