Tilb. Courant 19-02-1892: Woensdag gaf de heer Davenport een sance in de zaal van de Liederentafel, waarbij ruim 400 personen aanwezig waren. De heren van Loon besteller bij van Gend & Loos alhier en B. Hamers oud-brievenbesteller werden doorhem behandeld, waarna zij verklaarden geen pijn meer te hebben. Ook de patienten van donderdag zekere Verkeulen uit Oisterwijk oud 27 jaar, en schoenmaker van beroep werd verlost van rheumatische pijnen waaraan hij gedurende 3 jaren was lijdende, ook H. van der Horst oud 65 jaar en gedurende 20 jaar met pijn in de lendenen, heup en benen werd van zijn pijn verlost. Vrijdagavond waren 800 mensen in de zaal en werd de weduwe van Eijck-Smulders en zekere Segers beide uit Tilburg behandeld. De verkoop van Prairie-olie trok veel belangstelling en bijgeloof.
