Op 11-3-1785 wordt hij lidmaat van de NG kerk te Amerongen. (M310)
Op 12-9-1789 wordt hij benoemd tot adjunct-secretaris der gemeente. (M339, Politieboek A.)
Hij wordt genoemd als grondbezitter in het archief van de Lekdijk Bovendams 1509. (M283-284) Hij tekent daarin vanaf 1791 als gemeente-secretaris.
In dec. 1805 erft hij met Tieleman en Hendrik de Ridder een uiterwaard. (M348)
Op 30-7-1798 is hij procurator van de familie van Reede. (M346, RAU, Dorpsgerechten Amerongen 151)
Op 2-4-1798 en 14-1-1801 wordt hij vermeld als rentmeester. (M345, RAU, Dorpsgerechten Amerongen 151)
Op 30-11-1801 koopt hij met Tieleman de Ridder een huis, schuur en twee morgen land en een weide aan de Koornweerd. (M346, RAU, Dorpsgerechten Amerongen 151)
Op 15-4-1811 verkoopt hij land met Otto, Tieleman en Hendrik de Ridder. (M346, id.)
In zijn testament heeft hij f.1000,- nagelaten aan de N.H. kerk (archief Herv. Gem. Amerongen 271b)
Volgens de kadasterkaart van 1832 bezit hij nr. 261 bis (tuin), 262 (magazijn)
