L'état de biens de son frère ± Heer en Meester » Cornelis Waignaert, docteur en médecine, mort à Strijpen en 1723, lui attribue une descendance à Renaix. Il avait épousé Susanna Roelof, mais l'acte de mariage n'a pas été retrouvé. Susanna Roelof sera la marraine du premier enfant de Cornelius Waignart et de celui de Pieter Andreas ± junior » Wignaert et c'est à ce titre qu'on peut la considérer comme la grand-mère des enfants de Cornelius et de Pieter Andreas. L'acte de décès de Pieter Andreas ± senior » manque également. Il est mort avant le 29 janvier 1767, date d'inhumation à Renaix (Saint-Martin), de sa femme, qui est qualifiée de veuve, et après le 14 mai 1739, date à laquelle il est parrain du deuxième enfant de Cornelius. L'acte daté du 22 juin 1740, et établissant le partage amiable des biens de Sieur Jan Waignart, fils d'Heer Hermes, a été approuvé par ± Susanna Roelfs over Pieter Andries Waingnart ». Cette annotation démontrerait que Petrus Andreas ± senior » était déjà mort le 22 juin 1740.
