    Henricus studeert in 1651 theologie aan de universiteit in Kassel. Hij wordt conrector aan de Latijnse school en hulpprediker in de stad Hofgeismar. In deze stad trouwt hij met Anna Martha Streichner en in 1665 wordt hij zelfstandig predikant in Hombressen, in het Reinhardswald. Zijn jongster zoon Georg Otto Grimm doopt hij op 9-02-1673 in de kerk te Hombressen.

    Georg Grim was eigenaar van een boerenhoeve en burgemeester van Oedelsheim in Duitsland. Zijn vakwerkboerderij staat aan de voet van de evangelische kerk tew Oedelsheim, "Das Grimmschen Haus"
