Op de boerderij Douma state onder Sexbierum woonde in 1803 Pieter Watzes (overleden in 1820) dit was een broer van Antje Watzes Douma ( 12 dec 1790 x Hessel Idses Bierma geboren 1767 in Pietersbierum later Holwerd). Deze zijn oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Holwerd.
Zijn zonen Watze en Jacob boerden hier van 1822 tm 1847. 1848 en 1849 Jacob P. Douma.
In 1850 de erven.
Watze kan zijn overleden 1847/1848.

In het boekje Van de mond der oude middelsee staat een artikel over Douma state Sexbierum waarin deze Pieteren zonen Watze en Jacob worden genoemd. zie blz 331tm 336.
