Op 2 juni 1793 woont hij in Salverd, op 28-12-1811 te Bolsward.
Naam in 1811 aangenomen, hij woonde toen met zijn 6 kinderen te Bolsward..
Hij kon blijkbaar niet schrijven daar hij de naamsaannemingsakte met een rechtopstaand kruis van 4 gelijke benen ( staand op 12, 3, 6 en 9 uur ) ondertekende. Anderen voegden de tekst toe "dit is P J Stallinga, eigen gezet". Doetje Jans is zijn doopgetuige en wordt genoemd als zijn grootmoeder.
