Is 1748 gecommitteerd geweest bij de vergadering der Doelisten, en daarvoor veroordeeld tot ƒ 3500 boete plus kosten wegens verzwijging van gedistilleerd "bij de peil". Het bedrijf heeft 1752-1758 stilgestaan door executie d.d. 24 april 1757. De deurwaarder zou een zeer kwalijke rol hebben gespeeld. In 1764 gevlucht naar Ameland, de weduwe woont daar nog 1772
