Notes about Minne Sybrandus (Menne Brands Brants) Wybenga

Hoewel Minne Brants nooit de naam Wijbinga heeft gebruikt is hij wel één van de 3 voorouders die hebben geleefd tussen Sijbrandus Wijbinga (1612-1673) en Antje Minnes die in 1811 de naam Wijbinga aanneemt. Op 14-04-1746 koopt Minne een huis met tuin in “Swaagwesteijnde”. Kort daarna wordt hun 1ste kind Tjitske geboren. Het gezin woont dan nog in Driesum, het in Zwaagwesteinde gekochte huis wordt niet betrokken. Minne laat in 1746 te Dantumawoude 2 kinderen dopen; Tjitske en Aaltje. Minne is schipper en koopman. Hij is een man van “ gewicht ” in Zwaagwesteinde. Wanneer Minne en Gertje getrouwd zijn is niet bekend. Wellicht was er nooit sprake van een wettig huwelijk. Op 03-05-1773 koopt Minne 3 pondematen kleiland. Op 20-02-1776 koopt Minne 3 percelen grond. samen met Biense Geeles. In 1777 wonende te Zwaagwesteinde
Hij heeft dan; 1 koe en 3 schapen. Op 29-07-1784 koopt Minne een huis en tuin. Op 31-01-1786 koopt Minne een perceel veengrond (samen met Brant Minnes, Djoerd en Biense Geeles)
