Zij wordt genoemd als dochter van Jarich te Nijland in het testament van haar overgrootmoeder Edwer in 1510 en van haar grootmoeder Swob in 1518.
HvF 16481-805 d.d. 20-12-1537: Frouck als weduwe van Tjalling Botnia contra Minne Eminga.
Bij RvA 1540 is het bezit van haar man te Hallum deels op haar naam en deels voor de erfgenamen.
Het bezit te Blija is bij RvA 1540 voor de erfgenamen en voor Frouck Rennerts weduwe (wie is dit ?).
Frouck erft in/na 1543 van haar kleinkinderen (zie GJB 1998-139).
T344-661, 662, 663: stukken uit recesboek Hennaarderadeel betreffende Frouck als weduwe van Tjalling Botnia en dochter Swob (1554, 1559).
In 1559 is sprake van haar testament (GJB 1998-140).

T344-661: uittreksel recesboek Hennaarderadeel d.d. 5-6-1554 van een borgstelling voor Vrouck van Hottinga, weduwe Tzalingh van Bottnya.
T344-662: akte van reversaal door Jacob Evertsz c.ux. (Franeker 8-5-1559) en Stoffel Lywesz c.ux. (Franeker 9-5-1559) wegens koop van een huis en molen te Franeker met cessie van een deel der schuld aan Frouck Hottinga, weduwe Bottinga.
T344-663/HEN 38-58: op 12-8-1559 koopt Frouck van Hottinga, weduwe Tzaling van Bottnye te Franeker, ruim 22 pm land te Kubaard voor de twee jongste kleinkinderen van Syds Bottnye. Haar man was in leven voogd over deze kinderen.

In 1559 (?) is sprake van onenigheid over haar testament (GJB 1998-140).
Het grafschrift te Franeker met sterfdatum 7-11-1493 is dus fout, maar 7 november (Sint Willibrordusdag) lijkt wel goed.
Hessel de Walle vond in een andere bron dat ze was overleden MCCCC[ CLX]VI op Sinte Wilbordsdach. (7-11-1566 ?)
