HOLDINGA (Gabbe), grietman van Oost-Dongeradeel, een vetkooper. Hij onderteekende in 1443 het compromis, waarbij beide partijen, moede van den onderlingen twist en tweedragt en op aanzoek van vredelievende mannen, zich verbonden, alle geschillen, welke binnen de laatste jaren ontstaan waren, binnen 's lands op eene geschikte wijze af te maken, doch, zoo zulks niet kon geschieden, de kennisneming en de beslissing er van aan den raad van Groningen op te dragen.
