waar komt Mattheus vandaan ? volgens trouw akte met Smit komt hij uit Den Haag. In Den Haag heb ik geen gegevens kunnen vinden. Vreemde is dat zowel Van Rees en Smit uit Doesburg komen.

eindelijk overlijdens gegevens gevonden,volgens huwelijkse bijlage van zoon Frederick was Mattheus in 1808 overleden. Mattheus is zich Matteys Graaf gaan noemen.
volgens overlijdens bericht zou Matteys 2 kinderen hebben, zou kunnen kloppen, maar tijdens overlijden was Catharina ook al geboren, Baarent, Frederick, Maria leefde ook nog

nu volgende probleem, mattheus woonde in het armenhuis,maar catharina leefde tijdens trouwen van zoon frederik nog. waarom woonde hij in het armenhuis? toen Mattheus in 1808 overleed woonde hij in de watersteeg.
