Notes about Maarten Pieters Goudkade

Maarten Pietersz is een zoon van Pieter Maartens Goutkade.
In 1711 is Maartensz Goutcade één van de Schepenen. Op 23 dec 1771 moet hij, samen met de vier andere Schepenen, oordelen over een geschil van twee gulden en acht stuivers aan schouwboete over de jaren 1709 en 1710.
Maarten Pietersz Goudkade was kennelijk ook boer van beroep. Zo wordt gemeld in de Morgenboeken van het Hoogheemraadschap Rijnland dat Maarten vanaf 1732 t/m 1772 diverse stukken land, variërend van 3 tot 15 morgen groot, in de polder Laag Boskoop pacht of in bezit heeft, waarover hij een omslag moet betalen aan het Hoogheemraadschap voor het onderhoud van de dijken en windmolens.
Maerten was ouderling in de Remonstrantse Gemeente Boskoop in de jaren 1731, 1743 en 1759 en wordt vermeld in het lidmatenregister van 1740. Hij woonde toen tussen de Voorkade en de Reyerskoop
