Notes about Johanna (Jenneken) Franse Stroombergen

Jenneken Stroombergen, de tweede vrouw van Bernardus Waterbeek, komt uit een geslacht van trompetters, beiaardiers, organisten en klokkenisten in Heusden, Breda, Delft en ’s-Hertogenbosch. Er zit ook een auteur in de familie, Henrick Strombergen, Henrich Stromberg of Henricus Strombergius. Hij krijgt drie keer, onder deze drie namen, een door de Staten-Generaal toegekende beloning voor een in boekvorm uitgebrachte studie. De eerste keer in 1598, het jaar waarin ook Hugo de Groot een beloning krijgt voor zijn Batavi pontifex Romanus. De andere keren in 1616 en 1618. Het gaat steeds om in het Latijn gestelde verhandelingen.
Jenneken is in 1657 in Oirschot getuige bij de doop van een kind van Casparus Duijts en in 1662 in ’s-Hertogenbosch bij de doop van een kind van haar zus Elisabeth en Balthasar van Geesbergen.
