Naar de U.S.A. gegaan. Aankomst Ellis Island op 13 december 1910. Met de "Noordam" vanuit Rotterdam. 32 jaar oud en niet getrouwd. Teruggekomen, want hij komt aan op Ellis Island op 03 juli 1913. Met de "Potsdam" vanuit Rotterdam. Was toen 35 jaar en niet getrouwd. Is weer teruggekomen, want hij vertrekt opnieuw naar de States. Aankomst Ellis Island 12 november 1920. Hij is dan 42 jaar. Schip: de "Nieuw Amsterdam". Vanuit Rotterdam vertrokken.
Op 03 juli 1913 kwam hij aan op Ellis Island met zijn broer Wilhelmus N. Goes 33 jaar en ook niet getrouwd.
Ook hun broer Cor (Cornelis Johannes) emigreerde. Op 22 november 1924 kwam hij met het schip "Rotterdam" uit Rotterdam aan op Ellis Island.
