Notes about Boye Fockes Boyes ackerman

In 1573 (a) en 1574 (b) komt Boeye Fockes voor als naastleger van verkocht land "in de Waldtmeeden" (gelegen tussen Harkema en Kooten) en te Kooten. Een jaar later wordt hij met zijn broer Focke Fockes genoemd als naastleger ten zuiden van een vergraven fenne "streckende met het ene eind in Harkemahage en het andere eind an die Colsleten"(c). Op dezelfde datum legt Boye Fockes als naastleger en naastbloet het niaar op de verkoop van een "fael en acker bowlant in die Coeten, van Boye Fockes hem streckende ant olde diep" (d). Verkoopster is Syw Doeckedr. huisvrouw van Meynert Douwes. Syw moet dus een familielid van Boye Fockes zijn. (w.s. van moeders kant PK)

Op 01.02.1581 ondertekent Boye Fockes als kerkvoogd van Kooten de Geestelijke Opkomsten van Oostergo (Reg. van Geest. Opk. v. Oostergo, bewerkt door dr. J. Reitsma (Leeuwarden 1888) blz. 213).

Op 01.04.1596 verkoopt Boeye Fockes tweederde deel van een perceel land te Twijzel aan Harmen Harmens en Rinse Heerckedr., echtelieden (e).

In 1576 worden de broer en zusters van Jesel Wymers genoemd: Jowcke Wymers,
