21 septembre 1668 : " Extrait du testament de Salomon de Maldeghem, seigneur de Steenmaere. Il veut être enterré dans la chapelle de St. Philippe des Pères Dominicains, fondée par son grand-père Philippe de Maldeghem, où l'on célébrera 200 messes pour le soulagement de son âme. Etc. Il lègue une rente de 25 livres de gros par an à Catherine Cousseurs nommée Vanderbeecke, rachetable par ses héritiers. Si Catherine Cousseurs viendrait à mourir sans descendant ou héritier légitime, la rente doit retourner au héritiers du testateur. Le 3 juillet 1704, les débiteur de la rente, François van Beverhuys, receveur général "du francq de Bruges" est informé que Catherine Cousseurs est décédée sans descendance. Les nouveaux ayants droit sont les petits-enfants de Sébastien de Maldeghem qui fut le frère du testateur, à savoir les enfants de Salomon de Maldeghem, les enfants de Philippe-Christophe de Reiffenberg, pour avoir épousé Caroline de Maldeghem, et les enfants de Philippe Josse de Maldeghem." ----------- http://query.an.etat.lu/query43/detail.aspx?ID=323062 --------------------
