On connait un sceau de Franck de Magnée sur une charte, datée du 7 janvier 1362, conservée au château de Harff en Allemagne, appartenant aux Mirbach-Harff: " Vairé en pal de quatre rangs, au franc-quartier chargé de quatre fasces à la bande brochant sur les fasces". Il ne portait donc pas les armes de son père. A rapprocher des armes que les Briffoz ont retenues.
