Te Nijkerk was donderdag een ;openbare' vergadering belegd door de Protestansch Christerlijke vereniging van Spoorwegpersoneel. Aan Sparenburg van de Ned. Vereeniging, die gekomen was om te debatteeren werd de toegang geweigerd. Een deel der aanwezigen ging toen heen en belegde zelf een vergadering. Na een rede van Sparenburg werd toen een afdeeling van de Ned. Vereeniging opgericht met aanvankelijk 10 leden.
