Arie verlaat het ouderlijk huis aan de Van Diemenstraat 7, Den Haag op 26-10-1926 met als bestemming Vlissingen, aan boord van werkschip.

Per 18-02-1927 staat hij weer bij zijn ouders in de gemeente Den Haag ingeschreven om vier maanden later weer te vertrekken.
