Im Zuge der Gründung Ende des 30jährigen Krieges des Gutes Altenhagen gelangten Ameling und Hermann Buller aus Leeden nach dort. Hier wurden sie Heuerlinge des Gutes und genossen zeitweise eine recht große Verbreitung. Seit Ende des 13. Jahrhunderts ist diese Sippe im Mannestamm nicht mehr vorhanden. Die heutige Familie Buller in Hagen stammt aus Glandorf.
