Steven Jacobsz (Swart). Bij zijn ondertrouw in januari 1701 wordt vermeld: "Steven Jacobsz, jongeman van Hoorn wonende bij de Ooster Poort ende Hillegont Cornelis, jongedochter van de watermolens buijten de Ooster Poort en daer wonende." .. As his baptizm is not found, he postulates:

"Bij het dopen van 4 van zijn kinderen, wordt als doopgetuige vermeld: Neeltje Jans. Dit zou eventueel zijn moeder of schoonmoeder kunnen zijn. Steven zijn oudste zoon heet Jacob Stevensz, zijn oudste kleinzoon Steven Jacobsz Swart. Het is dus heel goed mogelijk, dat Steven zijn vader weer Jacob Stevensz heet. Jacob heet hij in jeder geval. In het ondertrouw register in Hoorn vind ik vermeld op 22.10.1672:"Jacob Stevensz, jongesel van sertogenbos, woonende opt Schotland, en Neeltje Jans, jongedochter van Spierdijck, woonende mede opt Schotlant." (Schotlant is in deze een stadswijk in Hoorn). Mijnsinziens zijn dit de ouders van Steven Jacobsz....maar het moet bewezen worden."
