In een akte uit 1770 neemt Weijntje de Jong,wed.van Hendrik Dirksz Vermeulen,hypotheek op seker hofstede bestaande in een huijzinge,twee bergen,een tabakschuur en hof,. ..genaamd Blotenburg,...daar westwaarts de Ekerissedijk,zuijdwaarts de Huijstederdijk naest gelant zijn (RAU,dorpsger.2347 Woudenberg,dd23-01-1770) Uit akte 1536,waarin eigenaren en gebruikers werden beschreven,weten wij,dat in 1770 de weduwe van Hendrik Dirksz Vermeulen eigenaresse was in 1770.Het perseel werd toen beschreven als:Een erf genaampt Ekeris groot XX mergen,bruyckt Gerrit Gybertsz,;sjaars om XXVII Karolus guldens.
