Notes about Jacob Krijnen

Jacob Krijnen trouwde in mei 1877 met Johanna Hanou. Zij vestigden zich eerst in de Regenboogstr. 403a (thans ter plaatse van nr. ) Later verhuisden ze naar de boerderij, die gelegen was aan de Beijert en die grensde aan het Promersplein. Het gezin bestond toen uit drie jongens en vijf meisjes. In 1903 vierde het echtpaar hun zilveren bruiloft. Bij die gelegenheid werd een foto gemaakt waarop het hele gezin en de overige familieleden vereeuwigd werden. Deze foto bleef bewaard. Johanna stierf in 1922 en Jacob volgde in 1923. Hun zoon Jacob nam de boerderij over tot deze in 1929 grote brandschade opliep en werd afgebroken. Hun zoon Bertus stichtte later de modelboerderij Sanitas aan de Lambertus Hortensiuslaan.
