Noemt zich in Nederland: de Lange Uit de overlijdensakte van zijn moeder, Clara Margaretha Lange, geboren Koenig, afgegeven 24.2.1812 door de kerk te Vinsebeck, blijkt dat hij in Veendam woont. Een brief van L.H.M. de Lange van 14-3-1981 meldt dat Joannes Fransiscus Mauritius Lange ron 1800 naar Veendam is gekomen. In de huwlijksafkondiging wordt als woonplaats Muntendam opgegeven.
