Getuigen bij dit huwelijk waren: Kornelis Engelen, oud 52 jaar Jan Smid, oud 42 jaar Lambertus Bongers, oud 27 jaar en Derk Polman oud 46 jaar allen wonende te 's Heerenberg. De bruid en bruidegom alsmede de aanwezige ouders verklaarden niet te kunnen schrijven In deze akte wordt de naam van de bruid geschreven zoals hij wordt uitgesproken. In het verdere verloop zien we dat de naam luid van Leeuwerden.
