Notes about Christiaan Uittien

Hoe komt nu een jongeman helemaal vanuit Malchin (Mecklenburg) in Bronkhorst (Nederland) terecht? Het antwoord vinden we in "Het Staatsche Leger"deel VII op blz.354-356. Daar wordt vemeld hoe in 1701 Mecklenburgse en Brandenburger troepen
werden gehuurd en in Zutphen en Deventer werden gelegerd. De geschiedenis leert ons dat veel van die soldaten deserteerden.
In 1704 vinden we zijn eerste huwlijk te Bronkhorst, niet ver van Zutphen. (gezindte: Ev.Luthers), overleden 1763-1764 te Bronkhorst. In die tijd wordt ook wel Utijn, Uijttien, Utien en zelfs Uitwijn geschreven.
