27.3.1916: Berooid en platzak vertrekken zij van Amsterdam weer naar den Haag en vinden tijdelijk onderdak bij de ouders Wybe Nijdam-Anna van Veen, van Dijckstraat 210. Er was alleen nog geld voor vervoer van het huisraad. Het staangeld voor de spoorwagon moest worden geleend.
