Uit de memorie van successie, opgemaakt na zijn overlijden blijkt dat hij huis en erf bezat in de gemeente Vaals (sectie C1964). Verder bezat hij 78 are bouwland, 3,25 are tuin, 37 are hakhout en 21 are weiland. bovendien bezat hij nog 2 huizen (sectie C274 en C275), een tuin van 4,8 are en een boongaard. Hij liet dit na aan zijn vrouw en 5 kinderen waarvan nog 2 thuis wwonden in Vijlen bij hun moeder. de overige 3 waren gehuwd. alle aanwezigen ondertekenden de akte.
