Notes about Jacob Govertsze Stierp

Jacob Govertsz lijkt voor Akersloot een belangrijk man; als voor de periode 1761-1762 regenten moeten worden voorgedragen aan de Ambachtsheer, de stad Alkmaar, dan prijkt zijn naam tussen de anderen, ondanks dat hij katholiek is.
Bij de voordracht moet rekening worden gehouden met de volgende voorwaarden:
- Geen schoolmeesters of collecteurs
- Geen twee broers of zwagers tegelijkertijd
- Geen Roomsen zolang er Protestanten zijn
- Schepenen mogen niet langer dan twee jaar dienen
Anderen die op de lijst voorkomen zijn de katholieken Nan Claasz, Cornelis Meijne en Jan Capteijn.
Andere kandidaten zijn: Claas Lakeman, Henderick Groot, Dirk Schuijtemaker, Casper van der Veen,

Het gezin Stierp-Brasser woont op Boekel zeer waarschijnlijk in of dichtbij het "Gorthuijs".

Voordat Jacob met Aagje Wulleberts trouwt laat hij moederserfdeel van de kinderen Lourens
en Lijsbeth registreren op 2 november 1763. Dit bestaat uit:
- Een huis en erf op Boekel met de "weid"; waar het huis op staat, groot plm. drie morgen
- Drie morgen land gelegen in Swartendijk benoorden de molen
- een weidje bezuiden het Gorthuis
- een stuk land genaamd het Borststuk
- het Uiterdijkje op Boekel over het huis
- twee morgen zaadland op Boekel waarvan een halve morgen is gelegen in de banne van Heiloo
De renten en vruchten reserveert Jacob voor zichzelf tot onderhoud van zijn kinderen.
Tot voogden worden benoemd Hijderick Govertsz van Heiloo en Maarten Dirksz Raboen van Akersloot

Op 3 februari 1768 maken Jacob en Agie Wulberts een testament, waarin Jacob opnieuw voogden benoemd over zijn minderjarige kinderen Lourens en Lijsbeth, verwekt in het huwelijk met Maartje Lourens. Jacob Ooijevaar, schilder in de Schermer, is dan aan de twee voorgaande toegevoegd.

Jacob Govertsz wordt op 12 maart 1769 aangesteld om namens de erven Groenvelt het huis en landerijen te verhuren nagelaten door Claes Groenvelt en Pieter Bastiaen uit Akersloot en Limmen.
Hij is vast administratief aangelegd en daarbij ook boer.
De lijst van opgehaald stierengeld op Boekel bewijst dat hij inderdaad ook boer is geweest.
Over 1776 staat genoteerd: de erven Jacob Goverts ƒ 52 - 13 stuivers

(Oud-Rechtelijk) op 1 juli 1778.
Jacob Govertsz, overleden in 1770, heeft in zijn leven heel wat eigendommen weten te vergaren.
De laatste jaren zelfs sterk uitgebreid, zoals blijkt op 1 juli 1778, wanneer een verzoek bij de schepenen binnenkomt om de nagelaten goederen te mogen verdelen.
Twee dagen later vind de verdeling plaats. De kinderen erven:
Lijsbeth valt de plaats op Boekel met 14 morgen en 484 roe land, verdeeld over 21 stukken ten deel.
Louris erft de plaats op Lamoor met 19 morgen en 344 roe land, verdeeld over 29 stukken.
Beide huizen zijn bouwvallig. Op Lamoor is in 1766 een nieuwe boet bijgebouwd en er is meer land. Daarom moet Louris aan de voogden van Lijsbeth 1200 gulden betalen in contanten.
