Lieve Sybren,
Op 14-jarige leeftijd kwam je vanuit Friesland in Apeldoorn wonen op
Groot Schuylenburg.
Je hield van het buitenleven, ging in de ochtend al vroeg op pad om een ronde over het terrein te lopen, waarbij je in de gaten hield of de tandarts al aanwezig was en of er ergens iets nieuws gebouwd werd. Je werkte op de kinderboerderij, want je was gek op dieren en bloemen.
Je had altijd belangstelling voor iedereen; wanneer de begeleiding weer kwam werken vroeg je hoe de vakantie was geweest. Als wij zeiden dat we morgen vrij waren zei je soms: “alweer?”, maar als je hoorde dat we er morgen weer waren, had je een grote glimlach op je gezicht.
Je vond het niet leuk als je begeleiders of medebewoners ziek waren,
je kon je daar druk om maken.
Gek was je ook op mooie meisjes, je wilde graag, met een dikke glimlach, dat zij je naar bed brachten.
Van eten en drinken kon je ook lekker genieten, vooral van de borrels in het weekend. Je ging graag mee met uitjes en zat dan de hele dag met een grote glimlach op je gezicht!
Je was heel gek met je broers en zussen, vooral Janny deed heel veel met jou. Je ging met haar zwemmen, ze haalde je op voor dagjes uit, je bleef bij haar logeren, etc. Nadat eerst Sake en toen Hillie overleed en kort daarna Janny, was je erg verdrietig, maar je andere broer en zussen waren er voor jou, kwamen regelmatig en namen jou dan mee, waar je van genoot!
Langzaamaan ging je achteruit en kon je niet meer zelfstandig over het terrein lopen en ben je op De Rank gaan werken, waar je ook plezier had. Je wilde zelfs graag werken als je ziek was.
Op 27 februari werd je 76 jaar, we hebben jouw verjaardag op De Rank gevierd en daarna heb je met je familie samen nog pannenkoeken gegeten.
Jouw energie raakte steeds meer op en afgelopen zaterdag gaf je je over en ben je gaan slapen. Op 10 maart is jouw kaarsje gedoofd.
We zullen je missen.

Sybren is thuis aan de Achisomoglaan 110 te Apeldoorn.
Er is gelegenheid tot afscheid nemen en condoleren op dinsdag 17 maart
van 12.30 tot 13.15 uur in de foyer van Het Vierhuis,
Laan van Groot Schuylenburg 91 te Apeldoorn.
Aansluitend wordt om 13.30 uur de afscheidsdienst gehouden
in Het Vierhuis.
De crematieplechtigheid zal om 15.30 uur plaatsvinden in de aula
van Crematorium Heidehof, Engelanderholt 95 te Ugchelen
