DEVRIES (BOERSEMA) - Mrs. Anne DeVries, age 96, completed her earthly life of faithful service to her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, His Church, and to her family on Sunday, July 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Henry DeVries. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark and Joyce DeVries, Dan and Rosemary DeVries, Sue and Bill VanderVennen, Jenith and Renz Verbeek; her sister-in-law, Janet Boersema; her 12 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Van't Hof Chapel, 851 Leonard NW and and for one hour prior to the service of celebration which will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Westend Christian Reformed Church, 1015 Westend NW, with her nephew Rev. Gerald VanOyen officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to either West Side Christian School Foundation or the Christian Rest Home.
