Van Gerrit zijn in het archief een viertal oud-rechtelijke uitspraken gevonden. Een betreft het los laten lopen van 12 eenden in 1680 en een andere gaat over een veroordeling wegens het vangen van te kleine vis 1693 maar hij weigert de boete te betalen.

O.R.A. 1.982 d.d. 16-07-1680 worden bekeurt Allert Cornelisz. en Pieter Allertsz. voor het los laten lopen van eenden.

Veenboer, mede onsen buurman, twee stukken land liggende binnen onsen bannen als eersten de vijver en kousebant in 't damweer groot 140 roeden belent ten N.O. Dirk Jansz. en ten Z.W. Claes Jansz. Baarende ende de suijeracker van Kees Roelen groot 62 roeden belent ten S.W. Cornelis Jansz. Goijer en ten N.W. Cornelis Thijsz. voor de somma van 3 gulden.
