Notes about Focco Ubbes

Ubbe of Ubbo, zoals ook wel voorkomt wordt geboren als vermoedelijk enig kind van Wildrick Ubbes ongeveer in 1682. Hij werd net als zijn ouders geborenin Uithuizermeeden en overleed ongeveer in 1761 in Zandeweer.
Opvallend hierbij is dat Wildriks bijna overal zonder de “C” wordt geschreven.
Ubbe trouwde met op 46 jarige leeftijd met Anje Derks Luitjes. De naam Derks zien we niet eer terug, maar opvallend hier is dat hun Luitje Fokkes alseerste de naam van zijn moeder krijgt.
Zo gaan we langzaam over van de Ubbes en Wildriks over op Luitjes.
Later (rond 1811) zien we hier de naam Sander achter verschijnen. Deze naam is afgeleid van de plaatsnaam Zandeweer oftewel Sandwer of Sandtwer inhet dialect.
