Notes about Hendrik Collaris

Hendrik Collaris (Collarts) wordt 11 jan.1712 gedoopt in Hulsberg als zoon van Joannes en Helena Akkermans. Hij woont in Aalbeek en is 'bieste coopman' ofwel veehandelaar en bezit land waarvan de waarde in 1776 wordt geschat op 1000 gulden. Daar deze bij de confiscatie nog geen 400 gulden opbrengen, komt het goed misschien grotendeels van de kant van de vrouw.
Hij trouwt 22 apr. 1734 in Hulsberg de negen jaar oudere Catharina Knoren, gedoopt 30 okt.1702 in Schinnen als dochter van Gabriël en Maria Voncken. Uit dit huwelijk worden vijf kinderen geboren tussen 1734 en 1746.
Hendrik is vermoedelijk op 4 aug. 1774 tijdens het verhoor onder foltering van Joannes Lahaye* voor het eerst genoemd als een van de personen die "onder hunne bende als meede Complicen gehooren". Hij is gevlucht als men hem wil arresteren (1774?), mogelijk naar Broeksittard waar hij op Guliks gebied veilig is voor het gerecht van Valkenburg. Hij blijft voortvluchtig en wordt bij verstek voor eeuwig verbannen uit de Landen van de Generaliteit op 8 sept. 1776. Van Hendrik is geen echt duidelijk spoor meer gevonden.
Catharina Knoren overlijdt mei 1784 in Broeksittard.
