Huyg en Huibert

Bij de familie Bijl komt er een Jacob huyge Bijl voor. Bij verschillende genealogieën tref ik aan dat men er klakkeloos van uit gaat dat deze Jacob een zoon is van Huibert Bijl. Men laat hem dopen te Dubbeldam op 1 maart 1714. Hij huwt met Aartje Moerkerken, die gedoopt is in 1704 te Dubbeldam.
Dat laatste is juist. Op 27-7-1704 wordt er een Aartje gedoopt te Dubbeldam.
Op 1 maart 1714 worden er überhaupt géén kinderen gedoopt te Dubbeldam. En de naam Jacob komt rond dat jaar 1714 zeer zelden voor. M.a.w. Òf hij is er wel gedoopt, maar het is niet opgetekend. Óf hij is elders gedoopt.

Toch voert men zonder een bron te noemen Huibert Corn. Bijl op als vader van Jacob, met moeder Neeltje Jacobs van Gemert

Jacob Huyge Bijl huwt met Aartje Hendriks Moerkerken, dochter van Hendrik van Moerkerken en Neeltje Kooijman
Er worden drie kinderen geboren :
Neeltje (getuige Neeltje van Moerkerken, ws. tante van het kind)
Huibertje getuige Neeltje , huisvr. Van …Bijl.
Hendrikje (getuige Neeltje van Moerkerken, ws. tante van het kind)

Hoe verleidelijk ook, om op de … de naam huibert in te vullen. Maar er staat een korte naam. Jan zou b.v. kunnen
Helaas is het in de kopie van mij heel moeilijk leesbaar.
Het is duidelijk dat de vernoeming Neeltje wijst naar de Moerkerkenfamilie.

Ik heb twijfels of het juist is dat Huibert Bijl de vader van Jacob Huyge Bijl is. Als patroniem zou daar toch Huibertse kunnen staan?

Alle huwelijken zijn buiten Dordrecht gesloten. Heeft iemand een hint waar we moeten zoeken. Puttershoeke en ‘sGravendeel al bekenen…..
