Notes about Gerrit Petrus Joosten

Bij het overlijden van zijn vader in 1913 is een toeziend voogd aangesteld. Ingeschreven in het Repertoire 1913 van het Kantongerecht te Enschede onder volgnr. 451 en ingeschreven in het voogdijregister blad 484 is tot voogd benoemd, Hendrikus Joosten, spoorwegbeambte te Zevenaar. Bij het overlijden van zijn moeder in 1924 is tot voogd benoemd, Gerrit Martinus Schildkamp spoorwegarbeider te Hengelo. (zie voogdijreg.blz.482). In oktober 1944tijdens een razzia op straat opgepakt en als dwangarbeider naar Duitsland getransporteerd om in Ochtrup loopgraven te graven. met Kerst 1944 naar huis gevlucht. Sinds 1947 kreeg hij reuma en werkte niet meer. Tot 1947 werkte hij als verkoper bij leder en fourniturenhandel Willems (Balthazar) aan de Pluimstraat 56 te Enschede. (Volgens echtgenote is hij van zijn 13e jaar bij een zekere Boon in Heerlen geweest, welke van beroep doodkistenmaker was. ??)
