    Op 15 september 1871 komt Garrit Willem, samen met zus Alberdina Hendrika , vanaf 't Weezenloo onder Warken, wonen op 't Tjoonk, C4 onder Hackfort.(De vorige bewoners, de familie Groot Obbink, zijn op 25 februari 1871 naar Laren vertrokken). Een half jaar later volgen zijn ouders, broer Hermanus Willem en zus Betjen Gerharda.
    Op 11 februari 1876 wordt Garrit Willem ingeschreven op de Koppel, C32. Hier woont de familie Nijenhuis. Op 10 november 1876 trouwt hij met dochter Hendrika en twee maanden later wordt hun zoon Berend geboren, op 't Tjoonk, waar hij na zijn huwelijk weer is gaan wonen. Niet lang daarna verhuist het jonge gezin weer naar de Koppel. Op 14 januari 1880 wordt G.W. landbouwer op 't Hiemken, C109 Veldwijk onder Vorden.
    Hier overlijdt hij.
