Woont in herdgang Straten. (Loyenhork en Castaert ook Castaerden).
Koopt op 22-5-1494 Een akker groot 3 lopenzaad (= 1/2 ha.) in herdgang Spoordonk van zijn oom Goossen, hij betaald daarvoor 14 stuivers per jaar tot aan de dood van zijn oom.
Op 13-2-1510 vermeld als H.Geestmeester.
Regelmatig Schepen van Oirschot 1518, 1521,1529,vanaf 1542 tot aan zijn dood, ook gezworene en H. Geestmeester en leenman.
Op 26-8-1527 schepenverslag dat hij vanwege het testament van Henrick Claes Goessens de H. Kruismis in de St. Peterskerk met 10 stuivers per jaar betaald.
Op 3-7-1529 koopt Jan de oudste;2 akkertjes (Straten Hofstad) van Thomas Gijsbrecht Hoppenbrouwers voor 51 gouden Karolusguldens ten behoeve van zijn zoon Jan de jongste.
(Is Jan geb. +/- 1535 misschien een zoon van Hr. en Mr. Jan ??!!)
