Notes about Albert Waalkens

At his marriage Albert was a farmer in de Bult, soon afterwards in Blijham. He owned the farm at Bultsterweg 5 in Oude Schans. he was Kerkvoogd (Church Warden) in Blijham, initiator and president of the Waterschap "Reiderland", and member of the Provinciale Staten (Provincial Parlement) of Groningen.
From 1860 to 1875 Albert occupied farm nr.16 in Blijham (BBlij-I 16).
