Notes about Sadie Janssen

After marriage their first home was one mile east of the Church until thespring of 1935, when they moved to a farm southwest of Ackley, livingthere for sixteen years. The nest move was to the John Nevenhoven Sr.farm west of Aplington in
1961. The family farmed there until the death of Jake's parents. Thefarmland was sold to G.B. Eckles and the Nevenhovens bought the farmsteadand 30 acres. When Jake died, Sadie bought a home in Aplington and soldthe acreage to Lowell
Eltjes.
