Harvey Geiken, 82, of 107 Highland St., Adell, Wisconsin died Sunday, December 7, 2008.
He was born January 15, 1926 in Lennox to Harm G. and Sophie (Stratmeyer) Geiken. He married Grace Painter on August 21, 1948. They lived in Wisconsin where he was employed at West Bend Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1988.
Survivors include his wife Grace; children: Diane Kollmann, Harlan (Florence) Geiken and Mark Geiken, all in Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three sisters: Jennieve Schmidt, of Sioux Falls, Albertha (George) Albers of Tea and Joyce (Justin) Uhe of Sioux Falls; sister-in-law: Lois Geiken of Sioux Falls; brother-in-law: Lowell Luden of Illinois; foster-son: Patrick (Barbara) Manley of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by two sons: David and Brian Geiken; one brother: Gerhard Geiken; one sister, Jenette Luden and one brother-in-law: Albert Schmidt.
Services will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday at Hingham Reformed Church in Adell. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm Saturday at Dindot-Klusmann Funeral Home in Lennox. Committal services will begin at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Lennox Cemetery.
