Notities van de Heer van der Veer uit Leeuwarden, die een nazaat is van de

voorouders van Nanning Winius. Hij schrijft de volgende bijzonderheden over

Nanning Winius. Hij werd in 1752 op 15 jarige leeftij als leerling ingescreven

bij de Mr.Chirurgijn Abraham Arnoux van het gilde van chirurgijns te Den Haag,

was daar "tegen Paschen" 1957 lidmaat. Woonde op het Buijtenhof, vanwaar hij op

10feb 1760 met aattestatie vertrok naar de Lemmer. Hij verbleef daar maar een

maand of twee, want op 23apr1760 keert hij terug naar Den Haag en woont dan op

de Lange Poten.

In november 1760 vestigt hij zich als Mr.chirurgijn in bergum "Aan de oostkant

van de Buorren". In 1762 koopt hij "een Heerlijke en wel Doortimmerde Huisinge

plantagie, alles staande en gelegen in het gebuirte van den dorpe Berghum aan
