Op 21 mei 1914 komt Jacobus met zijn zoontje Albert Jacobus vanuit Zwammerdam nar Maurik om daar te gaan werken; op 13 juni komt vanuit Uithol ook huishoudster Antje Uithol naar Maurik om bij dezelfde familie te gaan werken. Jacobus Antje en Albert Jacobus vertrekken op 2 juli 1914 met z'n drieën naar Culemborg. (Echter op 1 juli is Albert Jacobus overleden)

op 4 juli 1914 komt Jacobus met zoontje Albert Jacobus (geb 1913) en huishoudster Antje Uithol vanuit Maurik naar Culemborg, het zoontje Aart (geb in Leiden) van Antje komt ook vanuit Aarlanderveen bij hun wonen.
In de periode die volgt worden in dit huis 5 (natuurlijke) kinderen van Antje geboren: zoon Albert Jacobus (10-2-1915), dochter Dirkje (1-6-1916), zoon Hermanus (20-9-1917), zoon Jan (24-5-1919) en zoon Evert (1-3-1921). Er wordt niet vermeld wie de vader is echter op 4 mei 1918 worden de eerste 4 kinderen erkend door de moeder en op 8 maart 1922 wordt Evert erkend door moeder Antje. Op 5 mei 1922 vertrekken de 6 kinderen van Antje naar Oud-Leusen (gem Dalfsen), waarom en naar wie wordt niet vermeld.
Het gezien woonde te Culemborg achtereenvolgens aan de Westerwal B 259, later no 120 en aan de Mariabuurt no 5.
