Er staat nog een dochter Sophia van mei 1893 in het bevolkingsregister, maar later is die gemarkeerd als "Abusief", waarschijnlijk behoort zij tot een ander gezin.

- 1-10-1877 tot 5-11-1878 gaat Gerrit alleen als dienstbode in Den Helder wonen bij "van der Peet", vorige woonplaats: Zijpe.
- 2-5-1880 gaat Gerrit met Antje samenwonen in Zijpe, 6 dagen later trouwen ze.
- 21-10-1880 gaat het (nu nog kinderloze) echtpaar vanuit Zijpe wonen in Nieuwer Amstel, Antje is dan 2 maanden zwanger van hun eerste zoon Jan.
- 5-7-1882 vestigt Gerrit zich, komende vanuit Nieuwer Amstel, op de kleine Wittenburgerstraat no. 55 te Amsterdam, samen met Antje, eerste zoon Jan (welke 4 dagen later overlijdt) en schoonvader Jacob, hij schrijft zich uit per 4-9-1882 om te vertrekken naar Den Helder.
- 8-9-1882 vestigt Gerrit Zwaan zich met gezin in Den Helder (op de Bassingracht), komende vanuit Amsterdam. Hij registreert zich in die gemeente op 15-9-1882. Daarna nog diverse andere adressen in Den Helder.
- 20-4-1888 woont het gezin in wijk Koegras, ongenummerd, Den Helder.
- 21-8-1894 gaat vader Gerrit alleen naar Rotterdam, Hoogendijk no. 29 (voor werk?). Komt op onbekende datum weer terug.
- 19-9-1908 verlaat zoon Gerrit het ouderlijk huis, gaat naar Willemsoord (Marinebasis Den Helder), iets meer dan een jaar later overlijdt hij.
- 3-6-1909 zoon Jan verlaat het gezin.
- 20-7-1910 vertrekt zoon Jacob naar Hamburgerstraat 58a, Doetinchem (bij J.H. Huls). https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburgerstraat_(Doetinchem).
- 30-1-1912 gaat vader Gerrit met vrouw, zoon Reyer, dochter Adriana Alida en dochter Trijntje Cornelia (geb. 1900) naar Amsterdam, Lijnbaansgracht, hoek Lauriergracht (zie foto).
- 10-7-1913 verlaat dochter Sophia Adriana Den Helder (Ankerpark 21), ze vestigt zich in Bennekom (gemeente Ede).
