Chiny (987-1025), Ivoix en Verdun (1024-1025),verkreeg na de moord op graaf Hermann het graafschap Verdun van bisschop Raimbert van Verdun. Gozelo, broer van Hermann, viel daarop Verdun binnen, verbranddehet bisschoppelijk paleis en vermoordde  Lodewijk. Geh. ca.990 met:
