15865402  Floris IV van Holland, geb. 24-06-1210, ovl. 19-07-1234 Corbie, begr. in de Abdij van Rijnsburg, graaf v. Holland (1222-1234), stond de eerste paar maanden onder voogdij van graaf Boudewijn van Bentheim tot hij op z’n 12e meerderjarig werd, breidde zijn gebied uit met het Land van Altena, nam 1234 deel aan de oorlog tegen de Stedingers, overleed tijdens een toernooi te Corbie, Frankrijk, geh. voor 1224 Antwerpen met:

15865403  Machteld van Brabant, geb. ca.1200, ovl. 22-12-1267, begr. Loosduinen in het cisterciënserklooster. 1e huw. 1212 met Hendrik II, keurvorst v.d. Palts, ovl. 1214. Na het overlijden van haar 2e echtgenoot tot 1239 voogdes voor haar minderjarige zoon Willem II van Holland. Stichtte 1230 samen met haar man het eerste cisterciënserklooster in Holland. Zij woonde in ’s-Gravenhage en liet er een parochiekerk, gasthuis en begijnhof bouwen, bezorgde Den Haag stadsrechten.
