1344274  Willem van der Duyn, geb. voor 1298 Zevenhuizen, ovl. na 22-04- 1348, stond aanvankelijk onder voogdij van Dirk van der Doortoge (1297), beleend na een geschil met hem met 10 morgen land te Zevenhuizen door de heer van Brederode (1306), schout v. Zevenhuizen (1320), hoogheemraad v. Schieland (1347). Dit adellijke geslacht was verwant aan de graven v. Holland en voerde het wapen van Holland met barensteel, wat duidt op een jongere tak van de familie. Geh. ca.1345 met:

1344275  Margaretha van Egmond, geb. ca.1320, fam.wapen, twee rode kepers op goud, vermeld op het wapenbord van haar kleinzoon Daem van der Duyn.
