Verduijn, geb. ca.1550 Charlois, testeerde 11-07-1626 Rotterdam en ovl. diezelfde dag te Charlois, begr. aldaar “int hoochkoer” v.d. kerk onder een zerk met het familiewapen: twee zilveren snoeken boven elkaar op een blauw veld, helmteken: een vlucht met uitkomende snoek. Dit wapen duidt erop dat het geslacht oorspronkelijk inkomsten uit de visserij had. Wouter was bouwman, bewoner v.e. hofstede, bezitter v. landerijen te Charlois ter waarde van fl.10.000,-, pachter v.d. tienden v. Charlois v.a. 1573, schepen v. Charlois 1582-86, 1590-92 en 1602-04. 1e huw. ca.1573 met 0010581 Maertge Cornelisdr. Varkenoord, geb. ca.1551. 2e huw. ca.1579 met:
